… oh gawd bless you random recipes stalwarts… I throw some very random themes your way and still you persist in taking part and for this I love you… some of my regulars were stumped entirely and indeed not all locations have an obvious local ingredient but still you went for it in style so I thank you most humbly… and most importantly I love that these recipes are just so random… you wouldn’t have a clue what the theme was unless you looked a little deeper… well, less of the platitudes and more of the recipes shall we…
let us begin with Lou from Please Do Not Feed The Animals and her Aberdeenshire Smoked Haddock with Lentils taken from Nigel Slater’s Eat.

Some gorgeous looking dishes here. I did find a dish that used a local ingredient – Tunworth Tartiflette using Tunworth cheese that is very local to us, but I've been away for part of the month and had a pregnant house guest who couldn't have soft cheese for the rest of the month, so never had chance to cook it. But I WILL be making it, soon, and will tweet you when I post about it.
