That's an impressive round up. I need a lie down and all I did was read it. And what's going on? I never win anything! It's due to the excellent Stephen Bull, of course, but I've had my acceptance speech ready for the last thirty years or so so I'm not wasting it. I'm sorry I missed this one, I was so sure I will make it, but I made a 'wrong' i.e. non vegetarian soup and then for some reason, haven't got down to blogging about other unimpressive soups.

Really, What a wonderful and completely unexpected surprise. It was a new and enjoyable experience for me to be participating in Random Recipes this month (thanks to Jacqueline) and to win a badge for my blog – wonderful. I will display it with great pride. Brilliant round-up. This gives me enough delicious soup recipes to last a very long time. In fact, perhaps I can get rid of that book of soups – only it probably hasn't got anything chocolatey in it – foiled!

Dom, I FOUND it! **SOUP UPDATE PEEPS** A genuine sweet soup (I knew it would exist somewhere in this food paradise of Singapore). I just slurped a bowl of “ah balling”, which is rice balls (same as Japanese mochi essentially) in sweet, hot, peanut soup. Ah-maze balling!!! Definitely going to be trying this one at home.
