I am in Soup Heaven! Amazing round up and such fabulous recipes. Well done : )
Phil in the Kitchen says
That's an impressive round up. I need a lie down and all I did was read it. And what's going on? I never win anything! It's due to the excellent Stephen Bull, of course, but I've had my acceptance speech ready for the last thirty years or so so I'm not wasting it. First I'd like to thank my producer, the rest of the cast, the cameraman….(continued on pages 63 – 145)
Katy Salter @ Pinch of Salt says
mmmm, there's some lovely looking soupage here. My New Year's resolution is going to be to start entering random recipes! (I'd say December resolution but I know myself too well) x
Shu Han says
that's a great roundup! I will just bookmark this page for future soup making! I'm getting a bit bored of my usual favourites.
I'm sorry I missed this one, I was so sure I will make it, but I made a 'wrong' i.e. non vegetarian soup and then for some reason, haven't got down to blogging about other unimpressive soups.
“it's not what you're probably not thinking it might not be…”
I'm still trying to work out this sentence.
Janice says
Fab round up, I really like the look of that African peanut soup, never seen anything like that before. Looking forward to December RR already, esp if it's not what we think it might be, so now I don't know what to think it is or it's not!
Baking Addict says

Well done Shaheen and Phil – well deserved winners – those soups look very impressive.
And wow, what a resource this post it – I know exactly where to come for inspiration when I fancy making soup (which is quite often).
Thanks Dom and Jac.

Shaheen says
Really, What a wonderful and completely unexpected surprise. It was a new and enjoyable experience for me to be participating in Random Recipes this month (thanks to Jacqueline) and to win a badge for my blog – wonderful. I will display it with great pride. Thank you to YOU and to Jacqueline for hosting such a fab event. It was really a good way for me to be introduced to Random Recipes, and hopefully more participating from me in the future.
Also congrats to Phil – interesting and unusual soup indeed.
Choclette says
Brilliant round-up. This gives me enough delicious soup recipes to last a very long time. In fact, perhaps I can get rid of that book of soups – only it probably hasn't got anything chocolatey in it – foiled!
spontaneous-euphoria says
loooove it!!! all so perfect for a cold winter's evening by the fireplace and a book and a blanket!
Michael Toa says
another incredible round up Dom. I don't even know where to begin. Everything looks delish!
Anne says
Wow, so many soups to choose from! Winter is complete now!
little macaroon. says
Dom, I FOUND it! **SOUP UPDATE PEEPS** A genuine sweet soup (I knew it would exist somewhere in this food paradise of Singapore). I just slurped a bowl of “ah balling”, which is rice balls (same as Japanese mochi essentially) in sweet, hot, peanut soup. Ah-maze balling!!! Definitely going to be trying this one at home.
